This is the coming of age years for the Seattle Seahawks with their first playoff games and pro bowl players. These are the actual original broadcasts of the games and not some edited espn replay. Some even have the commercials of that day as well as the pregame shows and interviews.
Seattle Seahawks 1st divisional playoff game in team history
This is the year the Seattle Seahawks finally became a playoff team in 1983 after 8 years of being just a losing expansion team. They won there final 3 games of the season to make it in the playoffs, and then beat John Elway and the Denver Broncos in the wildcard game to advance to Miami and face Dan Marino and the Miami Dolphins, Dec. 31, 1983. The Dolphins had won the AFC championship and made it to the Super Bowl the year before. They won their division this year, had home field advantage, and was heavily favorites to win. Up until this game Seattle had never beaten Miami.
This game has it all from kick returns, turnovers, big plays, to one of the greatest Seahawk come from behind drives in Seahawk history with less than 2 minutes on the clock.

Seattle 27, Miami 20 Game Highlights
The Seahawks drove 66 yards in five plays late in the fourth quarter and scored on a 2-yard Curt Warner run to capture an AFC Divisional Playoff game over Miami in front of 71,032 at the Orange Bowl.
Warner rushed for 113 yards and scored on a 1-yard run. He also caught five passes for 38 yards.
Quarterback Dave Krieg completed 15 of 28 passes for 192 yards. He found Cullen Bryant for a 6-yard touchdown pass.
Miami quarterback Dan Marino completed 15 of 25 passes for 193 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His principal target was Mark Duper, who caught 9 passes for 132 yards. Marino and Duper hooked up on a 32-yard touchdown play.

The Seattle Seahawks enter the playoffs coming off their best season record in team history 12-4. It was still not good enough to win the division title but good enough to put them in the playoffs against the Super Bowl champions Oakland Raiders. The Raiders knocked the Seahawks out of the playoffs the year before so the Hawks were out for revenge.
The Seahawks lost Curt Warner, their leading rusher, for the season on the first game of the year. But it didn't stop the Seahawks, and they even put together a 9 game win streak in the middle of the season.
The Raiders team consistent of coach Tom Flores, Jim Plunkett, Marcus Allen, Todd Christensen, Cliff Branch, Dave Casper, Ray Guy, Lyle Alzado, and Howie Long.
The Seahawks had the Coach of the Year Chuck Knox, Defensive Player of the Year Kenny Easley, Dave Krieg, Dan Doornink, Steve Largent, Franco Harris, Jacob Green, Freddie Young, David Hughes, and Dave Brown.
Seattle 13 Oakland 7 Game Highlights
Fullback Dan Doornink rushed for a career-high 123 yards as the Seahawks eliminated the defending Super Bowl champion Raiders in front of 62,046 at the Kingdome.
The Seahawks scored on Dave Krieg's 26-yard touchdown pass to Darryl Turner and a pair of Norm Johnson field goals from 35 and 44 yards. Doornink had 18 yards rushing during the drive that culminated in Johnson's 35-yarder.
Krieg completed 4 of 10 passes for 70 yards.
The Seahawks defense limited the Raiders to 240 yards, recorded six sacks and forced three turnovers. Marcus Allen, L.A.'s Pro Bowl running back, rushed for 61 yards.
1988 - 16th game of the season Winner takes AFC West division title Seattle vs. Oakland
This is a shoot out between two bitter rivals in the AFC West with the winner taking the title and the loser going home. In a very high scoring game the Seahawks win their first Western Division title in the history of the franchise. The Seahawks enter the Oakland Coliseum and a very angry crowd and put on their best at the end of a comeback season.
The Raiders fielded a team that had Jay Schroeder, Todd Christensen, Howie Long, Tim Brown, Bo Jackson, Marcus Allen, and Willie Gault.
The Seahawks have back Coach Chuck Knox, Dave Krieg, John L Willams, Mike Tice, Steve Largent, Curt Warner, Norm Johnson, and Dave Brown.
In 1988 Steve Largent continued to make history as he set the career record in receiving yards, as the Seahawks win their first 2 games. However in the 3rd game QB Dave Krieg suffers a shoulder separation and misses nearly 2 months as the Seahawks barely keep their head above water at 5-5. When Krieg returned the Seahawks would catch fire winning 3 of their final 4 games to capture their first AFC West title with a 9-7 record.

1983: Through the first 12 games the Seahawks play up and down football, sweeping the Los Angeles Raiders while enjoying a distinct home field advantage where fans perfected the NFL's first "wave." Back-to-back road losses to the St. Louis Cardinals and Denver Broncos, however, led to a leveling 6-6 record."
With their playoff hopes dwindling, the Seahawks beat the Kansas City Chiefs 51-48 in a overtime shootout at the Kingdome. The win would boost the Seahawks to win 3 of their last 4 games to finish with a 9-7 record, good enough for a playoff berth. In the Wild Card game the Seahawks would use a balanced offensive attack to bet the Denver Broncos 31-7 at the Kingdome. A week later the Seahawks drive 66 yards in 5 plays late in the 4th quarter to capture divisional playoff win over the Dolphins 27-20 in Miami. However, a week later in the AFC Championship Game the Seahawks season would end with a 30-14 loss to the Raiders in Los Angeles.
1984: The Seahawks seize the momentum from the previous season by winning 12 of their first 14 games. Along the way the Seahawks defense posts 3 shutouts, including a game at the Kingdome on November 4th in which they beat the Kansas City Chiefs 45-0 in a game highlighted by 4 touchdowns off interceptions returns including 2 by Dave Brown. However the Chiefs would get revenge with a 34-7 win in the next to last game of the season, which set up a showdown for the AFC West in the final game of the season at the Kingdome against the Denver Broncos. The Seahawks would fall by a score of 31-14 to finish with a 12-4 record, but the loss forced them to settle for the Wild Card. In the Wild Card Game the Seahawks defense forced 3 turnovers and 6 sacks in a 13-7 win over the Los Angeles Raiders at the Kingdome. However a week later their season would end with a 31-10 loss to the Dolphins in Miami.
1985: The Seahawks play mediocre football all season while posting a disappointing 8-8 record. During the season the Seahawks would win 2 straight only to lose their next 2, a pattern that repeated it self 4 times. Among the highlights was QB Dave Krieg who passes 3,602 yards on the season, highlighted by 405-yard passing game in a comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons at the Kingdome on October 13th.
1988: Steve Largent continues to make history as he sets the career record in receiving yards, as the Seahawks win their first 2 games. However, the Seahawks would fall 21-13 in the Divisional Playoffs to the Bengals at Cincinnati.
